Things you need to know
The S-word
eMarketeer lets you send e-mails and SMS messages to people. This freedom comes with a responsibility. The law says that you can only send an e-mail or SMS to a person who:
- personally opted in to the information, or...
- you have a business relation to
You also need to provide your contact information and a way to opt out.
Reality says: - Anyone who might get annoyed by your send outs have the right and possibility to report you to blacklists, even if they opted in or have a business relation to you. So be super nice, thats all.
Setting Up Your Account
If it's the first time you log in to eMarketeer your should head over to the Account : Corporate Settings section to:
- Check/edit your public company information, and
- Upload a logo
By doing this most of the templates that we have prepared for you will be ready to use with your information and logo already in place.
